Dianne Smith, Winemaker
Dianne Smith is GreenLane Estate Winery’s winemaker. With a passion for producing wines through biodynamic and organic practices, Dianne is committed to putting GreenLane on the map in Niagara by creating more environmentally sustainable vineyard practices resulting in the production of unique flavour profile wines for GreenLane Estate Winery.
Prior to joining GreenLane Estate Winery, Dianne worked at several award-winning, ultra-premium producers in the Niagara region including Tawse Winery and Southbrook Vineyards. She also worked for the New Zealand wine producer, Carrick Winery.
A graduate of Niagara College’s Viticulture & Winemaking Program, she also holds a Bachelor of Arts in Interdisciplinary Studies (Geology/Biology) from University of South Florida.
When not producing incredible wines for GreenLane Estate Winery, Dianne serves as a volunteer with the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, the Toronto Cat Rescue and the SPCA.
